Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) training program and ensure continuing education for Certified Medication Aides at a long-term care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and medical practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Instruct and evaluate students in the classroom, nursing lab, and clinical sites.
Participate in constructing class schedules, clinical training schedules, orientation programs, and in-service training classes.
Monitor and track student training hours.

Requirements:
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or eligibility for such licensure.
Three years of experience in nursing, with a focus on CNA training and continuing education.
Strong knowledge of nursing and medical practices, as well as laws and regulations governing nursing care facilities.

Working Conditions:
Works throughout the nursing service area, including nurses' stations and resident rooms.
Frequent interruptions and exposure to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, and visitors.
Must be able to push, pull, move, and/or lift a minimum of 25 pounds and carry such weight a minimum distance of 50 feet.
