Dialysis Care Specialist

We are seeking highly motivated and compassionate Dialysis Care Specialists to join our team at Health Systems Management. As a Dialysis Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting positive outcomes.
Job SummaryThe Dialysis Care Specialist is responsible for supporting registered nurses in providing dialysis treatment to patients. This includes setting up hemodialysis machines, greeting patients, collecting information about their previous treatments, and reporting any concerns to the lead nurse. You will also assist with preparing patients' vascular access for treatment, initiate and monitor dialysis treatment, and obtain patients' vital signs before, during, and after treatment.

Responsibilities- Set up hemodialysis machines and ensure they are functioning properly.
- Greet patients and collect information about their previous treatments.
- Assist with preparing patients' vascular access for treatment.
- Initiate and monitor dialysis treatment, including obtaining patients' vital signs before, during, and after treatment.
- Report any concerns or observations to the lead nurse.
- High school diploma required.
- Basic computer knowledge required.
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work long hours and be on feet for extended periods.
- Must pass Certified Clinical Hemodialysis Technician (CCHT) exam within 18 months of employment.
- Basic Life Support certification approved by the American Heart Association required.
