Medical Support Associate

At JobRialto, we are seeking a Medical Support Associate to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and detail-oriented individual to provide high-quality care to patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
About the RoleThis Medical Support Associate will work closely with our nursing staff to ensure that patients receive exceptional care and support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient-centered care, addressing the needs and preferences of patients with empathy and respect.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, mobility, and personal hygiene, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
- Monitor vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate, and record them accurately.
- Reposition bedridden patients regularly to prevent bedsores and promote comfort.
- Ensure patients receive the appropriate diet by reviewing dietary restrictions, food allergies, and personal preferences.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and nursing staff to obtain and relay pertinent information about patient conditions and treatment plans.
- Record food and liquid intake, as well as urinary and fecal output, reporting any changes to medical or nursing staff.
- Remind patients to take medications and nutritional supplements as prescribed.
- Monitor patient behavior, noting any complaints or physical symptoms, and communicate findings to nursing staff.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail for accurate reporting and monitoring of patient conditions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
