Truck Operations Specialist

A challenging opportunity awaits at White Cap Construction Supply, where you'll embark on a dynamic journey as a Truck Driver. In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering products to customers while adhering to all Department of Transportation regulations and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver products to customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Load inventory on trucks and unload at customer sites, maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- Operate trucks to pick up and deliver products, supplies, and equipment to and from organization, supplier, and customer sites.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections in accordance with Department of Transportation regulations and company policies.
- Resolve customer service issues and maintain a positive relationship with customers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
- Specialized skills training or certification may be required.
- Generally 2-5 years of experience in the area of responsibility.
This role typically involves working in a comfortable environment with regular exposure to factors that may cause noticeable discomfort or a moderate risk of accident or illness, such as temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes.
Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion, including walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting, and maneuvering material or equipment that may be heavy (50+ pounds) or awkward.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
