About the Job

This role is responsible for conducting employment health assessments and screens, as well as providing nursing care to employees and volunteers. The successful candidate will utilize Therapeutic Communication to monitor the physical, psychological, and social needs of employees and volunteers. They will also ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and organizational policies, and maintain accurate records according to department standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

- Conducts employment health assessments and screens, including annual Tuberculosis (TB) surveillance tests and immunization administration
- Provides nursing care to employees and volunteers, utilizing Therapeutic Communication to assess their physical, psychological, and social needs
- Ensures compliance with regulatory agencies and organizational policies, implementing Evidence-Based Practices to deliver high-quality care
- Maintains accurate records according to department standards, adhering to HIPAA guidelines for employee health records
- Engages in quality improvement initiatives, participating in data collection and auditing to identify areas for improvement

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- A completion of an approved License Practical Nurse program
- Current LPN license, as well as CPR/Basic Life Support certification
- Strong interpersonal skills, with excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to evaluate physical and mental conditions, determining appropriate courses of action
- Effective computer skills, with experience in data entry preferred
