  • Delivers personalized treatment courses of radiation therapy, tailoring plans to meet individual patient needs.
  • Serves as a valuable resource to physicians, providing expert guidance and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Efficiently manages time, prioritizing tasks and optimizing workflows to maximize productivity.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient treatment charts, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare teams.
  • Adapts to changing circumstances, accepting additional duties as assigned and participating in departmental meetings to foster collaboration and growth.
Requirements

To be successful as a Radiation Oncology Specialist, candidates must possess:

  • An Associate in Science degree in radiation therapy from an accredited program.
  • Licensure by the state of Florida.
  • A current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or completion within three months of employment.

Prior experience is preferred, with a minimum of one year in a related field demonstrating proficiency and expertise.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $ $84,000 - $110,000, commensurate with experience.
