Job Description

Estimated Salary: $58,000 - $59,000 per year.

This position is based in Fridley, MN, and requires on-site work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create cutting-edge designs for components, assemblies, tools, and products of varying complexity using Creo 7 software.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, vendors, manufacturing, quality, and customers to ensure design specifications are met.
  • Ensure designs are free of layout process defects and apply CAD methodologies to meet engineering and military standards.
  • Apply expertise in tolerance analysis, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and applicable CAD equipment to drive innovation.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge of production methods, human factors, and MBD principles to create high-quality designs.
  • Evaluate completed drawings, specifications, and procedures for producibility, viability, and integration of equipment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 9 years of experience in design/drafting using Pro-E/Creo CAD system.
  • Creo 7 experience is mandatory.
  • An Associate Degree with emphasis in engineering drafting/design or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
