Tool Assembly and Repair Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Tool Assembly and Repair Specialist to join our team at Hubbell. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assembling and repairing installation tools, including hydraulic and mechanical devices.
Responsibilities:
* Assemble and repair installation tools, including hydraulic and mechanical devices
* Utilize work order routing, product drawing, and QCIP to guide proper assembly of components
* Fasten components together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners
* Operate drill presses, lathes, grinders, arbor presses, and hydraulic presses to assist in assembly operation
* Verify conformance to specifications utilizing measuring devices
* Maintain all necessary records and reports
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation
Requirements:
* Three to Five years related experience and/or training
* Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules, blueprints, and procedure manuals
* Reasonable understanding of hydraulic devices and functions
* Ability to read and translate hydraulic and electrical diagrams and schematics
