About the Role

As a Blackbird Behavioral Health Department Manager, you will lead a high-performing team of behavioral health professionals. Your expertise will drive exceptional patient outcomes and support the growth of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and develop therapists to ensure they meet productivity and caseload standards.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director, facilitate clinical supervision groups, and deliver excellent clinical care to a caseload.
  • Manage PTO use according to departmental procedures and policies.
  • Train new therapists on job responsibilities, workflow, clinical policies, and documentation standards.
About You

We're looking for a seasoned leader with a passion for mental health care. If you have a strong background in evidence-based interventions, leadership skills, and cultural competency, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or related field.
  • A PA/VA license to practice psychotherapy and 3 years' experience as a licensed therapist.
  • Ability to supervise pre-licensed therapists working towards licensure.
