Compensation PackageThe estimated salary for this position is $120,000 annually, inclusive of a competitive base salary, bonus structure, and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) retirement plan.
Additional perks include flexible scheduling options (Monday to Friday), no on-call or after-hours responsibilities, paid holidays, and continued medical education sponsorship.
Job Responsibilities- Diagnosis and Treatment: Assess and diagnose fractures using clinical evaluation and imaging studies, administer non-surgical fracture reductions, and monitor the healing process, adjusting treatment plans as needed.
- Procedural Skills: Perform joint aspirations to diagnose conditions such as joint effusions or infections, administer intra-articular injections for pain relief and inflammation reduction using ultrasound, and apply casts, splints, or orthopedic bracing to stabilize and immobilize various musculoskeletal conditions.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on cast care and potential complications, review and interpret X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, and other imaging studies, and provide detailed information about their orthopedic conditions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with radiologists and orthopedic surgeons to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans, address patient questions and concerns, ensuring they understand their treatment plans, and coordinate patient care and rehabilitation with physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- 1+ year of experience as an Orthopedic Provider (Family Nurse Practitioner/FNP/APRN/Physician Assistant/PA)
- 1+ year of experience with bracing, casting, splinting, and injections
