Overview:
CommonSpirit Health is a leading healthcare provider with a mission to build healthy communities and advocate for those who are poor and vulnerable. As a registered nurse in our institution, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to patients of varying age groups.

Responsibilities:
As a registered nurse, you will be responsible for conducting care assessments, interpreting assessment data, and determining care needs. You will also maintain accurate documentation of observations, treatments, teaching, medications, care given, patient response, and integrate into plan of care. In collaboration with patients and families, you will evaluate, plan, direct, and administer care to the patient. You will implement plan of care based upon established standards of care/practice, policies, and procedures, incorporating cultural, religious, psychosocial, physical, and age-related issues. You will possess knowledge of medications, and administer safely and accurately. You will appropriately delegate and supervise routine technical functions to non-licensed and licensed personnel. You will negotiate with the patient/family and health care team members to come to an acceptable resolution of conflicts resulting from patient care or organizational issues. You will demonstrate an appreciation of the hospital mission as a teaching institution by acting as a resource for employees, students, and residents. You will be supportive of patient and family centered care, promoting that environment within the care provided. You will include family and patient in plan of care, providing teaching and support where needed. You will perform other duties assigned by authorized personnel or as required to meet the needs of the facility, and internal and external customers.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited/approved school of nursing. BSN preferred. Required Licensure and Certifications: Current Registered Nurse license in Kentucky. Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training: Must be knowledgeable of current nursing practices.
