Radiation Therapist

Job Summary

Deliver high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician's prescription. Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments, ensuring proper function of treatment equipment and adherence to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare's performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver radiation therapy treatment to patients in accordance with physician's prescription
• Complete treatment preparation, including simulation, immobilization, and block fabrication
• Coordinate care of patients receiving radiation therapy treatments
• Ensure proper function of treatment equipment

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Technology program
• Current AART registration in Radiation Therapy and Iowa permit to practice in Radiation Therapy
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
