About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Youth Support Professional to join our team at Wisconsin Community Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting youth aged 13-17 in a state-licensed residential care center.

Job Summary

The Therapeutic Youth Support Professional will work closely with our team to provide individualized support and guidance to our youth residents. This includes teaching skills, promoting healthy behaviors, and encouraging positive relationships. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with our youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and guidance to youth residents, including teaching life skills and promoting healthy behaviors.
  • Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each youth's unique needs.
  • Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed.
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records of youth interactions and activities.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 21 years old (two years older than the oldest resident).
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
Working Conditions

This role requires working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent interruptions. The successful candidate must be able to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.

Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
