As a key member of our Perioperative Team, you will play a vital role in advising and participating in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning for assigned groups or departments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess the learning needs of individuals, groups, and departments.
  • Plan and design learning approaches to meet the identified needs.
  • Offer learning opportunities to meet the identified needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the learning opportunities.
  • Demonstrate ability to deliver care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.
  • Develop a culture of improvement, efficiency, and innovative thinking.
  • Design orientation schedules and continuing education for staff.


Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • One year as a direct patient care RN.
  • MN RN License.


Preferred:
  • More than three years as a direct patient care RN.
  • Two or more years as a preceptor.
  • AANC certification in specialty.
