The Emergency Department at PeaceHealth is seeking a skilled and experienced Nurse Leader to join our team. As an Assistant Nurse Manager, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and leadership to our nursing staff.

Job Summary

This position is responsible for assisting the Nurse Manager in planning, implementing, and evaluating clinical service delivery. You will be responsible for supporting the development of nursing policies and procedures, as well as maintaining and establishing patient care standards.

You will work closely with the nursing team to promote open communication, provide guidance and support, and facilitate decision-making. Your expertise in emergency nursing and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the highest level of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Nurse Manager in developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Support the development of nursing education programs
  • Maintain and establish patient care standards
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to promote open communication
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • A minimum of three years of emergency nursing experience
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a healthcare setting
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
