Leading the Way in Paving Excellence

At Jobot, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paving Superintendent to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity to lead paving projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution, quality, and safety.

In this critical role, you'll oversee all stages of paving projects, including planning, execution, and completion. Your expertise will be pivotal in coordinating and supervising paving crews and subcontractors, guaranteeing that work is performed in compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Developing and implementing project schedules, managing changes as required
  • Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure quality of work
  • Identifying and resolving any issues or obstacles that may arise during the project
  • Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and team members on project status and updates
  • Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including costs, timelines, and resources used
  • Providing training and guidance to team members, promoting a positive and safe work environment

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the paving or related construction industry, with a proven track record of successfully managing paving projects
  • Extensive knowledge of paving materials, techniques, and equipment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and overcome challenges in a timely and effective manner
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with team members, clients, and other stakeholders
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction
