The role of a pharmacist at Temple Health involves ensuring the timely, accurate, and safe provision of medication and drug information. They are responsible for overseeing the work of pharmacy technicians and interns to manage the drug distribution system effectively.

Pharmacists at Temple Health support the organization's mission by providing pharmaceutical care and services to hospital inpatients and outpatients in the ambulatory infusion room and clinics. This includes the provision of medication, drug information, and therapeutic drug monitoring.

Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, with a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy being preferred. Completion of an ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency is also preferred. Additionally, 2 years of experience working in a university or teaching hospital is preferred.

Required licenses and certifications include a PA Pharmacist License, with Basic Life Support being preferred.
