**Overview**: Sonoma County Office of Education is seeking an experienced education professional to serve as a Lead Education Mentor in our Regional Virtual Support team. This role requires a strong background in teaching and mentoring, with expertise in facilitating online learning experiences.

**Job Summary**: As a Lead Education Mentor, you will be responsible for providing high-quality support to educators and staff members across the county. Your primary focus will be on guiding teachers in effective instructional strategies, lesson planning, and classroom management.

**Key Responsibilities**:
• Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers and staff members on best practices in teaching and learning;
• Develop and implement training programs to enhance educators' skills and knowledge;
• Facilitate peer-to-peer support and collaboration among educators;
• Conduct observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching practices;
• Collaborate with district administrators and other stakeholders to align support services with educational goals.

**Requirements**:
• Master's degree or equivalent from an accredited institution;
• Three or more years of successful teaching experience, preferably in adult education;
• Proven track record of mentoring, coaching, and supervising educators;
• Valid California Teaching Credential or equivalent licensure;
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills;
• Ability to work effectively in a remote setting and adapt to changing priorities.

**Compensation**: The estimated salary range for this position is $93,000 - $113,000 per year, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off, will also be provided.
