Supply Chain Logistics Specialist

Rexel USA, a leading distributor of electrical supplies, services, and solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Delivery Specialist to join our team in Asheville, NC. As a Delivery Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely delivery of products to customers, company branch/warehouse locations, and suppliers.
Responsibilities:- Inspect company vehicles for visual and operating defects, completing daily inspection reports as required.
- Maintain company vehicles in clean, serviced, and good working condition, alerting supervisors to any repair or service needs.
- Follow Department of Transportation (DOT), local, and state driving laws and regulations.
- Load or unload vehicles, ensuring all material for each order is correct in quantity and type, and free of damage before departure.
- Assist in preparing orders for delivery, ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed at the time of delivery, including delivery receipts signed by customers, packing lists, and branch/warehouse manifests.
- Pick up material returns from customers, inspecting their condition, verifying quantities, and catalog numbers.
- Pick up material from company suppliers.
- Participate in training entry-level truck drivers and provide mentorship and coaching.
- Support other Warehouse duties such as preparing and filling orders and/or receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping materials.
- In lieu of experience, must attend company driver training.
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of their Motor Vehicle Record.
- Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
- Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation within the past 3 years.
- Must not have any at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
- Estimated salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year.
