Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals for patients and customers. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential in ensuring the quality of our food service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a wide range of high-quality meals for patients and customers
  • Utilize standard kitchen equipment to prepare soups, sauces, gravies, entrees, baked goods, and other menu items
  • Clean your workstation and maintain the quality of the food served
  • Work effectively in a team atmosphere to ensure seamless food service operations

Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Previous kitchen cooking experience, in hospital, institutional, or restaurant cooking preferred
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
  • Flexibility and accommodation to resident diet preferences or restrictions
