Job Summary

The Counselor for International Students will provide academic and admissions counseling to international students under the direction of the College Dean of Enrollment Management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist international students and their sponsors through the completion of all required steps in the international student application process.
  • Review applications and all accompanying documents for completeness and qualification for admission.
  • Coordinate maintenance of records for international students for SEVIS for reporting and compliance.
  • Collaborate in the collection and reporting of enrollment management data for the College through the SEVIS system.
  • Conduct orientations for international students.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the College Dean of Enrollment Management or designated supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications

A master's degree in counseling, student personnel, or a related field is required. Experience in enrollment management processes, providing academic and admissions counseling, effective communication skills, and computer literacy are also essential. Experience working with international students is preferred.
