Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Database Administrator to join our team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. This is a full-time position responsible for the day-to-day administration and maintenance of Microsoft SQL and CACHE/IRIS databases.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform installations, upgrades, backups, and configuration of databases.
  • Address ongoing database optimization and implement critical alarms to ensure database uptime service level targets are achieved.
  • Confer with IT Technical Leadership teams for database design specifications, including physical/virtual computing platforms.
  • Provide ongoing oversight and implementation of industry-leading database capabilities of Microsoft SQL databases, including design and programming.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field.
  • 15 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of complex computer design and support.
