Restaurant Server Opportunity

About the Role:

NoGigiddy is seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Server to join our team in various dining establishments. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests upon their arrival, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests, providing refills as needed and maintaining a clean and organized serving area.
  • Answer any questions about the menu, including details about ingredients, preparation methods, and recommended dishes, showcasing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Process guest payments and provide accurate change, handling cash and card transactions with ease.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and proper setup of dining tables and serving areas, adhering to health department regulations and NoGigiddy's high standards.
  • Assist in resolving any guest complaints or issues, ensuring satisfaction and providing a positive experience.


Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a Restaurant Server, Waiter, Waitress, or similar role, demonstrating your ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and customer service principles, showcasing your understanding of the industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with guests and colleagues.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure, handling multiple tables and tasks with ease.
  • Basic math skills for handling cash and card transactions, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and evenings, adapting to the needs of the business.
  • High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality or customer service is a plus, demonstrating your commitment to excellence.
