Water Meter Technician

At Corix, we are seeking a highly skilled Water Meter Technician to join our team in Longwood, FL. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely reading of water meters, identifying equipment problems, and performing minor maintenance.

The successful candidate will maintain accurate records, document customer interactions, and act as a liaison between customers and customer service personnel. They will also be responsible for providing on-site customer communication, assisting with mechanical, electrical, and piping systems maintenance, and performing minor meter maintenance and repair duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2 years of mechanical work experience preferred
• Valid driver's license required

• Water meter reading experience preferred
• Maintenance and repair experience a plus

This is a field-based position that requires frequent travel between service areas near Longwood, FL. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with after-hour and weekend on-call support possible. Must be available to work shift work and may require weekend scheduling.

The estimated salary for this position is $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
