Job Title: Firefighter

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter to join our team at the City of Eustis, FL. As a Firefighter, you will be responsible for responding to emergency situations, performing fire suppression and rescue operations, and maintaining a high level of physical fitness.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to emergency calls and perform fire suppression and rescue operations
  • Operate fire department equipment and apparatus
  • Extinguish fires and administer first aid to injured or afflicted persons
  • Perform salvage operations and test fire hydrants
  • Maintain and check fire equipment for repairs
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or recognized equivalent
  • Florida State Firefighters Minimum Standards Certificate or Certificate of Compliance
  • Florida Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Certification
  • Valid Florida Class E Driver's License with an acceptable driving record
