Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a full-time or part-time RN Unit Nurse.

As an RN Unit Nurse, you will work closely with our unit manager, licensed practical nurses (LPNs), and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. This role is ideal for new nurses or those looking for a supportive environment without the responsibility of management.

The primary responsibilities of this position include:

  • Administering medications and treatments to a group of residents.
  • Accurately documenting care provided.
  • Assessing residents' clinical needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Ensuring adherence to established standards of care for the unit.
  • Reviewing resident records and quality of care.
  • Responding to questions and concerns from residents and their families.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid RN license in New York State.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A strong understanding of Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
  • Great computer skills, including EHR use.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $75,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
