Lending Reporting Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Lending Reporting Manager to join our Finance Controllers Team. This individual will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting legal agreements to facilitate accurate loan recording, ensuring controls are properly followed/executed, and analyzing and assessing the impact of complex accounting issues.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or comparable experience, with a solid understanding of loan accounting and advanced computer skills. Proficiency in Core Banking GL systems is a plus. The successful candidate will be able to lead projects and initiatives to scale accounting processes with business growth and provide leadership and mentorship for direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure loan data is reconciled
- Responsible for analyzing and interpretation of legal agreements to facilitate accurate loan recording
- Ensure controls are properly followed/executed
- Analyze and assess impact of complex accounting issues
- Liaise with business units and other departments in implementing accounting controls around new and existing products
- Review and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Work with internal and external auditors in the completion of annual audits
- Lead projects and initiatives to scale accounting processes with business growth
- Provide leadership and mentorship for direct reports
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in a public accounting firm or comparable experience
- Experience in Banking, Fintech Industry or Product Control preferred
- Proficient knowledge in loan accounting
- Advanced Computer Skills - Experience working with Core Banking GL systems
- CPA is a plus
Salary Range: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00
