  • Provide leadership to medical staff and foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for professional development.
  • Develop and enforce policies related to medical practices, protocols, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, board members, and external stakeholders to represent medical perspectives and interests.
  • Manage budget and resources allocated to medical operations.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to medical operations and patient care.

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing treatments, and managing patient health in accordance with standards of quality and practice protocols and policies.
  • Build rapport with patients, addressing their concerns, and ensuring their understanding of treatment plans.
  • Document patient encounters accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with medical record-keeping standards.
  • Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and technologies through ongoing education and training.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals, such as specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Comply with all policies, standards, and procedures of Resource Center.

Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in a relevant specialty (e.g., infectious disease, internal medicine, family medicine, etc.).
  • Current, unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of Texas.
  • Proven experience in clinical leadership roles, preferably within a non-profit or community health setting.
  • Understanding of healthcare administration, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-building skills.
  • Commitment to Resource Center's mission and values.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and make sound decisions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build effective relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Understanding of community health issues and healthcare delivery systems.
