Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our team at Humanscale. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating manufacturing equipment and processes to produce high-quality injection molded products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement new processes to improve product quality, productivity, and overall equipment efficiency
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process technicians and operators
  • Develop and maintain process documentation to ensure clarity and understanding for all employees
  • Provide technical support and solutions to manufacturing processes to improve yield and throughput
  • Collaborate with equipment and material vendors to resolve machine and material issues
  • Monitor and report issues with injection molds and make recommendations for refurbishment
  • Interact with customers to resolve issues and provide new project updates
  • Implement technical solutions to meet customer cost, quality, and delivery expectations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Plastics, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of practical work experience in an Injection Molding Operation
  • Strong technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, materials, manufacturing, and quality
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple start-up projects and lead others
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English a plus
