About the Role:

At Suncrest Hospice, we're dedicated to revolutionizing the way we deliver hospice care. Our goal is to provide exceptional service and care to our patients, and we're looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide care and services to a group of hospice patients, visiting them in their homes, assisted living facilities, and hospitals.
  • Complete hospice admissions and patient visits as needed, utilizing strong clinical and communication skills.
  • Answer calls from patients, families, and customers, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Make nursing visits for symptom management, deaths, and admissions, demonstrating a passion for hospice care and a commitment to advocating for our patients and their families.

Requirements:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing, with at least one year of experience under license.
  • Admissions and on-call experience preferred.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, collaborating daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and triage multiple concerns.
  • Ability to learn an electronic medical records system.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and auto insurance, to travel across the service area.
