Job Title: Learning and Development Specialist

Reports to: Senior Vice President

Job Type: Full-Time; Exempt

Summary:

This key position will be responsible for developing and executing learning strategies across the organization. This role will create training content per department needs while assessing learning effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a learning strategy and program that are aligned with the organization's objectives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and develop customized programs that align with business objectives.
  • Schedule training, track attendance, and keep record of any test requirements.
  • Deploy different kinds of learning methods companywide; mentor program, job shadowing; and online resources.
  • Assess the success of the training plans and modify them where necessary.
  • Responsible for scheduling and facilitating all onboarding classes to ensure a seamless start for new hires.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in learning trends, changes in learning theory, and developments in learning technologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years' experience of working as a L&D Manager, Training Manager or relevant position.
  • Significant experience with effective learning and development methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement effective learning and development programs that contribute to organizational success.
  • Strong organizational skills with business-oriented thinking
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams toward achieving common goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
