Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

This role involves performing Computed Tomography (CT) scans and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. The successful candidate will provide patient and family education, operate equipment safely, complete department documentation, and maintain all equipment to be clean and operational.

About Sentara Norfolk General Hospital

We are one of just five Level I trauma centers in Virginia, home to the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, and feature a leading heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital. Our large, 525-bed medical center serves as the primary teaching institution for the adjacent Eastern Virginia Medical School (EVMS). We partner with EVMS to offer the latest innovations in technology, research and clinical care.

Requirements
  • Required Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
  • Required ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT)
  • Required Cert Nuclear Med Tech
  • Required Basic Life Support
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT required within two years of hire
