Job Summary

We are seeking an Elementary Education Specialist to join our team at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic School in Saline. As a vital member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to our 2nd and 3rd-grade students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Catholic Mission and Values: Embody the teachings of the Catholic Church and model Gospel values in your daily interactions with students, colleagues, and parents.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with school and diocesan curriculum objectives, incorporating technology and innovative teaching methods.
  • Classroom Management: Establish a positive and organized learning environment, promoting student self-direction and confidence while maintaining high standards for behavior.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues and parents to ensure seamless communication and coordination of efforts.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Student teaching experience and excellent human relations skills.
  • Proficiency in computer software, including distance learning platforms and social media.
  • Certification as a teacher in the State of Michigan or willingness to obtain certification.
  • A strong working knowledge of the Catholic Faith and commitment to upholding its principles.
Salary and Benefits:

The salary range for this position is $50,000-$65,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
