  • Monitor patients during exams, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Document patient information using computer systems, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Report important findings to physicians, facilitating timely and informed decision-making.
  • Explain procedures to patients, addressing their concerns and providing reassurance.
  • Prepare equipment for use, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Maintain a clean and organized working environment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business and technical materials.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective patient interaction.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer programs.
  • AART certification and Texas State license, obtained through the Texas Medical Board.
Work Environment:

The Radiologic Technologist will work in a climate-controlled office environment, with minimal exposure to elements or sound. The position requires standing for over 2/3 of the workday, with regular breaks to sit and use hands and fingers to type or handle paper.
