Grounds Assistant Manager Job Opportunity

Pursuit Collection is seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Manager to join our team at Glacier National Park.

This role offers a unique chance to work in a breathtaking environment while contributing to the upkeep of our historic hotel and lodge grounds. As a key member of our grounds team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily operations, ensuring the grounds and gardens are well-maintained and visually appealing.

About the Role:

We are looking for someone with a minimum of 5 years of experience in golf course/hotel groundskeeping operations and maintenance. You should have a valid driver's license, knowledge of flower plantings, bed care, and selection of appropriate materials, as well as project management skills. Experience operating a variety of power equipment is also essential. If you possess a strong work ethic, commitment to teamwork and guest satisfaction, and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of standard golf course and outdoor grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, gardening, and general beautification of grounds. You will repair fences, gates, walls, and walks using masonry or other tools as required and maintain all areas around the hotel, lodge, cabins, and RV park. Additionally, you will regularly use power equipment such as various mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, etc., and may be asked to assist with trash removal and hauling. You will also fill propane tanks for RV park guests and keep records of potential safety and maintenance issues, communicating them to your supervisor.
