Maintenance Planner and Spare Parts Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner and Spare Parts Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure the optimal performance of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance (PM) programs to ensure the optimal performance of equipment.
- Track the time that it takes to complete PM's and work orders.
- Monitor work order backlog, assign work orders, and prioritize tasks to ensure that all equipment functions optimally.
- Collaborate with other departments to continuously improve production processes and reduce downtime.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely execution of planned tasks.
- Utilize computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) to track and manage work orders.
Spare Parts Management:
- Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts and equipment.
- Track and manage expenses related to parts and services.
- Monitor stock levels and reorder spare parts as needed to prevent shortages.
- Identify cost-effective suppliers, compare quotes, generate purchase orders, and ensure timely delivery of spare parts.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or associate degree in a technical field with minimum 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma / GED with minimum 6 years' experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in a technical field with 2 years in industrial maintenance planning or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Certification in Industrial Maintenance or Project Management.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) software and maintenance planning tools.
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing and knowledge of industrial maintenance, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical.
