**Care with Compassion at the Good Samaritan Society
We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Tyndall, SD. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
About the Role
- Provide resident-centered care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN).
- Assist residents with basic health care needs, including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and providing psychosocial support.
- Aid providers and nursing staff members with procedures as needed.
- Document resident interactions and outcomes related to resident care, behavior, activity, and dietary.
- Communicate resident's changing condition and care-related concerns/responses to the charge nurse.
Requirements
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred but not required.
- Minimum age of 16. Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
- Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement.
- Satisfactorily complete yearly department-specific competency testing and maintain a record of continuing education credits for each year.

Estimated Salary: $20.87 - $28.61 per hour
