We are currently seeking an experienced Advanced Imaging Technician for a 13-week travel assignment in the Midwest. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work with a reputable healthcare provider while exploring a new city.
**Job Summary**
As an Advanced Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, including special procedures, angiography, and interventional radiology. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care and excellent outcomes.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including X-ray, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to manufacturer instructions and hospital policies.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Provide exceptional patient care and communicate effectively with patients and their families.
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience as an Advanced Imaging Technician or equivalent position.
- Current certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
