Job Summary:

The Enterprise Security and IAM Architect role combines technical and strategic elements, focusing on developing technical strategies, designing enterprise security and IAM architectures, and overseeing solution implementations from a technological standpoint.

This position provides technical guidance and training to implementation teams, acts as an advocate for technology and best practices, and ensures adherence to high implementation standards and principles.

The architect advises technical management and various business areas on critical architectural decisions related to platforms and supporting technologies.

Responsibilities include creating technical architectures that are scalable, maintainable, reliable, secure, and aligned with performance requirements, all documented in deliverables.

The architect represents the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization throughout the company, collaborating to deliver technical solutions, maintaining continuity on major decisions, communicating the value of technology solutions at all organizational levels, and ensuring that implementations follow the established architecture and technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing technical strategies and architectures for enterprise security and IAM
  • Providing technical guidance and training to implementation teams
  • Acting as an advocate for technology and best practices
  • Ensuring adherence to high implementation standards and principles
  • Advising technical management and various business areas on critical architectural decisions
  • Creating technical architectures that are scalable, maintainable, reliable, secure, and aligned with performance requirements
  • Representing the Enterprise Information Technology (EIT) organization throughout the company
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in technology or a related field
  • Leadership skills, coaching, and mentoring skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building skills
  • Ability to influence and persuade without direct control
  • High degree of flexibility and ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization with diverse backgrounds
  • Desire to drive change and ability to adapt to change quickly
  • Recognized as a thought leader
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Enterprise security architecture experience in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment
  • Experience with On-Prem / Private, Public Cloud network, identity, and application security services
  • Experience and knowledge of security methods and solutions to support DLP, Encryption, Key Management, Fine Grained Access Control, Audit Trail, Detection, CASB, Micro segmentation, Cybersecurity Mesh, Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), and others
  • Knowledge of industry security standards and frameworks such as Payment Card Industry (PCI), HIPAA NIST, ISO 27001, and Cybersecurity Framework (CSF)
  • Familiar with principles of cloud security and solutions including native cloud provider security, Office 365 security, and Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM)
  • Specific experience securing Microsoft Azure hosted services
  • Experience with Identity Management Solutions and leading products in the marketplace
  • CISSP or equivalent technical certification will be beneficial
  • Experience architecting and implementing network security & QoS technologies
  • Able to develop opportunities, pitch, and deliver security-related projects
