About the Role

KEB America is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Assistant Manager to lead our quality assurance team. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing quality programs, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of quality assurance employees, providing training, development, and coaching to ensure their growth and success.
  • Determine training requirements for the team and implement effective training programs.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and drive implementation of corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and policies for products, services, and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, such as production, engineering, sales teams to ensure quality throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Manage supplier quality programs, including supplier qualification, performance monitoring, and corrective actions.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

A Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or Quality Management field, plus 5-10 years related experience. Or 10+ years' experience in quality assurance field with relevant position(s).

Skills and Abilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to fluently read and write in English. Strong knowledge of quality assurance and control principles, methodologies, and tools. Proficient in quality management systems (QMS), such as ISO 9001. Proven ability to lead and develop a team. Ability to think analytically and problem solve. Ability to effectively resolve conflicts and maintain composure in stressful situations.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year.

Work Environment: Time is split between office and manufacturing floor environments. Time will vary depending on tasks. Likely 60/40% split between both.
