Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance and logistics support for a broad range of F-35 Ground Support Equipment (GSE). This role involves working closely with internal and external customers to advise on installation, adaptation, configuration or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.

About the Role:

This position requires a professional with a strong background in aerospace ground support equipment maintenance, as well as excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be proficient in industry-standard maintenance practices, MS Office software, and engineering drawings and technical data. They will also be capable of working in hazardous flight line environments and frequently lifting and/or pushing equipment in excess of 50lbs.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical guidance and logistics support for F-35 GSE.
  • Advise internal and external customers on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement of company technical products, programs, and systems.
  • Work closely with GSE equipment managers, engineers, reliability engineering, and suppliers to resolve customer equipment issues involving safety, usability, reliability, and availability.
  • Collect, archive, and submit GSE readiness status.
  • Identify reliability and maintainability issues that affect readiness trends.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Aerospace ground support equipment maintenance experience or commensurate related experience.
  • Proficient in industry-standard maintenance practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficient using MS Office software, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience using engineering drawings and technical data.
  • Capable of working in hazardous flight line environments.
  • Capable of frequently lifting and/or pushing equipment in excess of 50lbs.
  • Knowledge of industrial and aircraft maintenance safety standards.
Salary Range:

$71,000 - $136,000 per year.
