About the Role

Precision Medicine Group is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Project and Alliance Management team. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for overseeing all client project management and alliance management activities for our Translational Sciences division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement project and portfolio management systems and information sharing, including planning, scheduling, and cost management across the portfolio of clients and projects.
  • Lead departmental operations, including responsibility for budget and resourcing models.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across sites, units, and functions to develop high-performing teams, enhance decision-making, and build an open and trusting team environment.
  • Set clear performance standards and hold self and organization accountable for achieving results.
  • Ensure effective collaboration among teams to optimize pipeline execution and cost management.
  • Develop and execute project strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Facilitate open communication and conflict resolution among team members and stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, advanced degree preferred.
  • Deep experience managing and leading projects/programs at a pre-clinical and clinical stage within the biopharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • CRO/client service delivery experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and collaborate across a geographically dispersed and highly matrixed organization.

  • Ability to work autonomously, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational skills and demonstrated excellence in planning and execution of strategies for project management.
  • Results-oriented with exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Effective at conveying a vision, energizing others, establishing goals, delegating when appropriate, mentoring, and coaching.
  • Advocate for best practices/change agent – successful in working with other functions/divisions to create excellence in project management and drug development.
  • Well-developed and effective team facilitation and leadership skills.
  • Ability to bring forward creative ideas and contribute to setting strategic plans for assigned projects and department.
  • Outstanding communication and influence skills, with the ability to inspire confidence.
  • Team player who leads by example, employs expertise, and influence to encourage collaboration across departments, levels, and groups to achieve shared objectives.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • High integrity, maturity, strength of character, and professionalism.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 25-35% of the time.
