Job Summary:

As a Lead Speech Language Therapist at Dignity Health, you will play a vital role in providing assessment and therapy to individuals in the area of clinical licensure. Your expertise will enable patients to restore their functional independence and reduce or prevent long-term disability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and therapy to individuals in the area of clinical licensure.
  • Develop and implement programs to restore patients' functional independence and reduce or prevent long-term disability.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Supervise therapy associates and oversee daily department operations.
  • Participate in the evaluation of clinical competence and performance evaluations of therapy associates.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed therapist in physical disabilities setting preferably in acute care or acute rehabilitation.
  • Current and valid speech therapy license, according to the laws of the State of California (LIC SLP).
  • Current AHA BLS (CPR BLS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience.
  • Clinical advancement or specialization.

Pay Range: $73.51/hour
