Job Summary

Piedmont Medical Center is seeking a Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in the Surgical Telemetry/ Observation unit. This full-time position offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role

This role is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis. The successful candidate will also supervise staff to ensure that appropriate care is delegated and support the Director of Nursing in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and resource management related to patient care.

Requirements
  • A valid Permanent Multi-State RN License from the state in which you reside is required.
  • American Heart Association BLS CPR certification is required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification is required within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of telemetry experience preferred.
  • CCRN certification preferred.
