We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Care Specialist to join our team in Washington, D.C. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional to make a real difference in the lives of critically ill children.

About the Role:

This 13-week contract position involves working as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and contributing to a culture of excellence and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill pediatric patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based guidelines in PICU care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, treatments, and outcomes
Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have:

  • A valid RN license in good standing
  • At least 1 year of experience in a pediatric intensive care unit or similar setting
  • Current certification in pediatrics or critical care nursing (CCRN)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders
Compensation and Benefits:

  • An estimated weekly pay of $3,000 - $4,000, depending on experience and qualifications
