Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our Special Procedures Department. As an Interventional Radiology Nurse, you will provide clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality care in a procedural environment.

About the Role:
  • You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of invasive radiology patients; pre-, intra-, and post-procedure.
  • You will assist physicians in procedures.
  • You will identify, determine, and ensure all appropriate equipment is available for procedures.
  • You will monitor patients during procedures and document appropriately.
  • You will continuously assess, monitor, record, and communicate patient condition and act accordingly.
  • You will administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
Requirements:

A Florida Registered Nurse license is required. Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred.

American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is mandatory. ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification within six months of hire/transfer is also required.

Critical thinking, service excellence, good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, and PC skills are essential.
