Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a challenging opportunity in our Cardiovascular Unit (CVU).

This role requires a skilled professional who can provide high-quality patient care while working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

  • The successful candidate will have expertise in managing complex cardiovascular conditions, including cardiac surgery, vascular surgery, and cardiology.
  • They will be responsible for providing direct critical care management, assessing patients, and making medical management plan revisions in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
  • The ideal candidate will also have experience with procedures such as A-line placement, central line insertion, and Swan Ganz catheter insertion.

The salary range for this position is approximately $95,000 - $115,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing the care of critically ill cardiovascular patients in the CVU.
  • Maintaining accurate records of patient assessments and treatment plans.
  • Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participating in educational activities to stay up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
