Millwright Technician

At Manpower Augusta, we are seeking a skilled Millwright Technician to join our team. As a Millwright Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining industrial equipment, including conveying systems, machine centers, and other machinery.

• Repair and maintain industrial equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Read and understand technical drawings and instructions to perform tasks accurately.
• Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, install, and adjust equipment.
• Align machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, and measuring instruments.
• Replace defective parts and adjust clearances and alignment of moving parts.
• Level bed-plates and establish center lines using straightedges, levels, and transits.
• Dismantle machines using hammers, wrenches, and other hand tools.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment or 1 year in the wood products industry.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated math and reading comprehension skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of computer hardware and software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated pattern of safe behavior.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.
• Successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen, physical, and background check.
