Job Description

The Director of Sales plays a critical role in shaping the overall sales strategy, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. This seasoned professional will lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of excellence, and ensuring seamless alignment with marketing initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute a comprehensive sales strategy, leveraging market trends, customer insights, and operational best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Foster a high-performing sales team by recruiting, training, and coaching talented individuals, promoting a culture of accountability, and encouraging continuous learning and development.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs, preferences, and pain points, ensuring timely responses to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze sales performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize sales processes and enhance customer satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the hospitality or vacation ownership industry.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven track record of leading high-performing teams, developing talent, and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas, negotiate effectively, and build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as familiarity with CRM systems and data analytics tools.
