Job Description
This part-time social work position (20 hours/week) supports the cardiology division in providing complex case management and brief supportive counseling to families with barriers to care and mental health crises arising from new cardiac diagnoses or chronic illness. The successful candidate will work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team to coordinate community resources and provide evidence-based interventions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Virginia preferred; Master of Social Work Degree from a Council on Social Work Education accredited program required; 1+ years of clinical social work experience; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
